Arrow Rock Night Walks

Reservations & fee required – 600-837-3231

Every Friday & Saturday Night in October! See the historic village of Arrow Rock, in a whole new light by exploring it in the dark! Your guide will lead you on a 90-minute walk around the village, recounting spine-tingling tales of daring adventures and dastardly deeds from days gone by. You’ll walk in the footsteps of great American painter George Caleb Bingham, “Quinine Doctor” John Sappington, rowdy river men, weary pioneers, slaves, merchants and tradesmen who lived and died (and some say linger still) in the village. Tours are $20 per person if paid in advance ($25 if paid on the night of the walk) and begin at 7:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night in October at the Friends of Arrow Rock headquarters, 310 Main Street, on the boardwalk. Bring a camera and wear comfortable walking shoes. Some stories shared during the tour may be too intense for young children. Each tour is limited to 35 people. All walks sold out in advance in previous years. Reservations are very strongly recommended. Sign up a friendsofarrowrock.org or call 660-837-3231. Night Walk tours may be scheduled for groups of 5 or more throughout the year by calling the Friends of Arrow Rock at 660-837-3231. Private walks must be scheduled at least 1 week in advance.  | Starting at 310 Main Street
