Solar cars will be driving through Arrow Rock on July 22, 2024 between 5:15 PM and 6:30 PM!\nThis cross-country solar car event will be following portions of the seven Historic National Trails from Nashville, Tennessee to Casper, Wyoming.\nThe American Solar Challenge is a solar-powered vehicle event which challenges teams of college students to design, build, and drive their solar cars on a pre-determined route.\nAs with any road trip, please understand if the solar cars are delayed due to traffic, breakdowns, weather, etc. Weather is especially a factor as solar cars rely on the sun for power. The solar cars do have batteries, which factor into the overall energy management strategy of each team. All of the teams aim to complete the route on solar power without trailering.\nVisit – ASC Route 24\n
